For really HOT conditions, I prefer cotton to the quick drying/wicking materials. When it is real hot, retaining the moisture, and staying cool, is more important to me than shirts that look good.
Also....
I recently made a great discovery on shirts:
Until now my shirts all have had buttons, and I don't like buttons on a fishing shirt.
(Also, I don't like the t-shirt style shirts.)
So.....
I found an ExOficio shirt that is made with snaps, and so far, it is by far the best tropical shirt I have found....
No more hang-ups on buttons.
