Fortunately I have not had to avail myself of Abel's customer service although I have Abel reels. I would be concerned that Jay had to post on one of the most well known fly fishing boards in the country to get a response. IMHO someone should not have to post on this board or any others to get good service for a high end product like an expensive fly reel, rod or any other product. I hope this is an aberration and not a sign of things to come.
