Try Guadeloupe in the French West Indies--not generally considered a bonefishing hotspot--but a wonderful French island(actually a pair of butterfly shaped islands)-with white orange and black beaches, a rainforest, great food, diving and snorkeling and one semi crazed bonefish guide who puts his clients on fish (http://www.ekwatafly.com/en/news-fly-fishing-guadeloupe.htm) We honeymooned there in 1969 and revisited in 1976-so I am not current, nor was I flats fishing there but i believe the aforementioned guide is still in business--but google bonefishing guadeloupe and you'll see videos and get up to date info. |
