Loved catchin' gar while fishing for stripers on Lake Texoma. Never targeted them tho. Hooked one once on conventional tackle that was over 6ft - had him in the boat with a homemade gaff but flopped out release! Second the motion on "Lafayette was just named "Best Small City for Food"!!
