I agree Bluegill fishing is a perfect fish to get your kids into fishing. The photo is of my son Steve about 45 yrs ago.
It was at Clear Lake in N Cal. I am sure it is still a good producer of Bluegills. Might be a little far for you. Bill [click here to display pictures] |
