Wonderful read; very well done. You should try your hand at writing for one of the fly-fishing mags.
Like we talked about often, knowing how to speak Spanish fluently adds so much to the Baja angling experience. Your fluency certainly made a huge difference for us both since I speak only enough of it to barely get by, usually getting myself into trouble. I've been spoiled all these years having Reynaldo Rubio for a guide since he speaks fairly good English. Ishmael doesn't; but you were able to communicate our wishes and also were able to get the inside track on a lot of things. I kick myself constantly for not learning to speak Spanish well.
Anyhow, the catching could have been better; but the fishing experience with you couldn't have been surpassed. It was a great trip amigo! I hope we can partner up for another adventure sometime soon.
