I had a great time there with a Kwan, catching a lot of small trevally while bone fishing. I really like a white receiver with some pink in it with hot pink thread, strip very fast with a sideways 12 inch jerk of the rod with each strip. I found in Xmas Island that the strip was very important. Good luck, it is the most beautiful island I have ever been ! Please post a report upon return. Cheers, Brian H.
