Weather along the Mid-Atlantic has been windy as ever and with that hand dealt a crew of us have headed to inland rivers where we've been greeted by stripers/rockfish from 16 inches to 10lbs that have been more than happy to bend high modulus graphite to the cork!

TFOs new BVK 5/6/7wts along with SA Streamer Express lines in 200/250 have delivered small Clousers (to match the juvy bait) to depth where there were well recieved. Hard to imagine but the 6 hour round trip to the Lower roanoke from Harkers turned out to be a fine ride with folks like Jake Jordan, Albert Bruno (striper junkie), and a real cast of characters that made 3 hours seem like 20 minutes with stories and such!

Once the winds finally layed some, we traded that 6 hour round trip to fish for 4/5 hours in for a 6 to 16 minute boat ride to waiting spanish mackeral from 12 inches to 6lbs on the same little sticks, just changed out to floating lines and 30lb bite tippet.

Here are some pics (thanks Dan for making posting them easier, hope this works).

Good Fishing!!!
