Gary, I'm sure much more knowledgeable people will chime in but.... I used the Outbound Short WF8F/I on the rod with good results. I'm not actually sure if it is 330g or 315g as both are listed but the results were good. For reference, I was using the typically recommended 26' of T-14 for my sinking line = 364g. The rod is plenty powerful & could probably be used with the Outbound Short WF9F/I (375g). As I said, I was comfortable with the 8wt line & had good results. Hope that helps.
