SH weight for GLX CC 8wt

Hi Guys, Used to avoid my SHs, each year I would re-visit the SH challenge and give up Now I'm back with confidence, Just amazing what 1 hour with a certified casting instructor can achieve "there is a moral to the story in there some where" Now, I would like an Intermediate for my 8wt, I have fish at a now achievabe distance! I'm thinking a Rio 300g? What do you think? I usually use T14 etc but looking at a "ready made" intermediate Regards, Gary
