Steve, Need more? see me at the pleasanton show or email me. I don't know about Steve but I don't have a problem lifting off the water. Timing is the thing. I can pick about 25' of line of the water with the lip flies but it's not a dragging lift, it's sudden snap lift and your airborne JM
