| A 10 or 12 weight with 20 or 30 pound fluorocarbon tippet would stop them as well as anything else except a tuna stick....not really any excuses for breaking a fly rod except operator error, your tippet should break or hook should bend out if it truly is too much pressure, but a strong hook and 30 pound would likely stop them in their tracks. |
