feel, touch, sensitivity, slippery, tacky, etc,.. i really wish i was tuned in to these things when casting a fly delivery system but these are not the things I relate to when casting. I seem to lean toward something that won't come apart and cost me a fish in the process. How it looks or feels isn't as important as if it will stay together long enough to get me through the season. I once watched Lefty deliver a fly to the end of the string with no fly rod at all. There was no grip. Ok... so no more quality cork... let's hope we don't run out of fuel to mix with oxygen and fire to get in the game or pray there isn't so much of it floating about in the gulf that there ins't a game left to get into. Has anybody tried duct tape???
