But that's just the bluewater guy in me. I know this won't get any traction with most fly-fishermen...but I generally like the EVA foam grips Ray Hutcherson is putting on his Bluewater & Inshore Extreme rods. They are a bit heavy, and I would prefer that they be a bit more firm, but both are things that could be fixed if there was some demand for it. I personally like the look of the foam over the composite or reconstituted cork.
