I think that's one of the pluses with the "old style" level shooting heads - you can customize to fit, and if you make a mistake (i.e. cut it too short), it's not a $$ disaster.

I'm most comfortable with 24'-25' of T-14 on an 8wt. If you do the math, that's 336 -350 gr, which is on the north side of an 11wt. It is a little short, but I'm used to it.

30' of Rio T-11 or Scientific Anglers Express 12 would also do the trick, but I'm more interested in sink rate.
