No question Mary in right. But, Belize is a political infant. AC is rife with political weirdness. Dredging is rampant; land transfers occur from the gov't w/o any concern for EIPs, much less water/wastewater needs. All to allow mega buildings. Even "celebrity" guides, in their political clothes are complicit. Sorry, I love that place, and it's going awful. And no, a splash of catch and release won't help.
