Say Ralph, I believe you are correct on the TSA rules; but I think some airlines themsleves have banned CO2 cartridges; just to avoid any possible legal liability hassles. I suppose they imagine if a cartridege went off in the luggage and put everybody to sleep including the crew. So it is simpler for them to just ban them; rather than research the safety issues (if any). George
