Our son lives in Mahahual, MX on the Caribbean coast line. It's located about 30 miles north of Xcalak, MX. We understand Xcalak is a flyfishing destination and we feel the same flies that work there will be good in Mahahual. We hear Bones,Permit,Snook, and Tarpon are what most people fly fish for in the area.
We have all the equipment except flies. The stores in Tyler, Texas don't sell salt water flies. We don't know a source that would sell flies for the fish he's most likely to fish for.
Any assistance with patterns, colors, sizes, etc will be greatly appreciated. Also information as to where we can purchase these patterns would be helpful.

Sincerely,
Don McKenzie
