Aloha Phil, I guess you are asking about saltwater species. Ahi are tough fighters, but go down and circle. Ulua, GT's are dirty and head for structure and cut you with their tails, but pull extremely hard. Toughest fighter we have here is the Awa or milk fish. They are fast like a bonefish, but jump like a tarpon and just don't give up. You can't horse them because of the soft mouth. Weakest, I would agree with Dan, Nunuu or cornet fish only fight in reverse and slime you pretty bad. Roi are pretty annoying in that they only like to get into a hole and hold up, other wise they just give up and let you darg them in. Specks, speckled weakfish (seatrout) don't give much of a fight, but they sure are good pan fried! Mems.
