Mike, I hear there are some huge carp in Almanor and next time I'm up there I'm going to have some of your carp flies with me and give them a try. I checked out that beautiful cove to see if I could spot anything working the shallows but I couldn't see anything. I think most of the bass and trout were in deeper water working on the pond smelt.
