I fish So. Cal. beaches and I want to find a shooting head to replace my T-11 head. Is there a head with better casting characteristics? As you know T-11 has the same diameter from one end of the line to the other.
My 11’ switch rod casts 300 grains very well and it can handle a head length up of up to 30'. I use Rio’s Slick Shooter for my running line.
I will appreciate your advice.
