Ross Saltwater V

I've just bought one second hand and the drag is very weak compared to my other big reels and even all my 8/9 weight reels have a stronger drag. I was told by the seller to fill the spool and Quote - "be aware when the drag is adjusted it is not a large arbour reel and more effective pressure is applied as more line is stripped off (because it has to do more revolutions) on a standard arbour."
